Dear Falcon Families,

I hope everyone is enjoying their 3-day weekend. Just a reminder, there is no school on Monday. We look forward to welcoming all Falcons back on Tuesday, bright and early. Every minute of instruction is valuable, and the start of the day sets the tone, so being on time is crucial.

If your child forgets their snack, lunch, or water, there's no need to worry. Second Chance Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and water fountains are available. We kindly ask that you refrain from dropping off any forgotten items, as this helps our Falcons build responsibility.

Lastly, over 75% of our school community supported Otay becoming a community school. I will keep you updated on the application process.

We had 105 attendees! Thank you to everyone who joined us. It was a fun evening filled with math discussions, research, and games. Your participation shows our students that we truly value their education.

Let's continue to have fun family events, like Family Math Night. To start, join the PTA. Our goal was to reach 100 memberships by the end of August, and we didn't reach it. It's ok. Let's make it happen by the end of September. You can pay the $10 membership fee in cash afterschool.
