We are so excited to have the opportunity to invite our families to the Kindergarten End of Year Program on May 17, 2024 at 9:00am. The process for Pre-Registration will be the same as our events. A Pre-Registration form needs to be completed for each visitor. Just a reminder that all visitors will be required to check in with a valid ID. Failure to pre-register, may result in waiting in a long line and possibly missing part of your child's event.

It will take time to prepare the information and print badges through the Raptor program. Therefore, any visitor who has not registered prior to May 15, 2024 will have to follow the normal check-in procedures in the front office. This new procedure is being implemented to expedite the security process for visitors. We sincerely appreciate you pre-registering for visitor’s badges. The wait time to obtain a badge in the office may be quite lengthy. Please plan ahead and pre-register for this event.

Haileu will have six Comets competing on Monday Evening for the District Art show. Results will be in Tuesday, but want to wish a huge congratulations to these students.

The last day of school will be an Early Release Day for students in Conroe ISD. Please make arrangements for your child’s transportation on this early release day.

• All Students will be dismissed at 12:05.

• NO CHANGE OF TRANSPORTATION (INCLUDING EARLY PICK UP) AFTER 11:30AM.

• All students will eat lunch before leaving school on this day.

• Cell phones and smartwatches may be used respectfully and responsibly before school and after school.

• Cell phones and smartwatches should not be used to capture video, audio, or images at school or on the bus.

• Cell phones and smartwatches should be set on silent mode and kept in backpacks, lockers, or other designated storage areas and should not be visible during school hours including instructional time, reward time, free time, lunch, and in the hallways.

• Use of cell phones and smartwatches may be permitted in extenuating circumstances with permission from a staff member. (ex. to notify parent/ guardian of a late bus)

WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) is a family and community engagement educational initiative. There are 2 primary goals of the WATCH D.O.G.S. program:

1. To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.
2. To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.

We believe that all of us want the same things for our kids and these values unite us. This program serves to bring communities closer together based on these values-based goals. Ultimately, our purpose is to change the country for the better by doing our small part to provide support to our educators and encouragement to our children.

Follow the steps below to get started!

1. Complete the CISD Volunteer Application.
2. Contact Mrs. Dumlao to schedule a date to volunteer at mdumlao@conroeisd.net
   
3. Optional: Order your official Watch DOG shirt at the Watch DOG store.

• PK, 2nd, and 4th grade lunch visits are on Monday and Wednesday.
• Kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd grade lunch visits on Tuesday and Thursday.
• Fridays are for working parents.

Lunch Visitor Policy

Safety is a top priority in CISD and at Hailey Elementary School. All lunch visitors must be listed as an Emergency Contact or accompanied by a parent. If a visitor arrives who is not on the Emergency Card they will not be allowed to have lunch with the student. Please be aware of this policy.

Hailey staff will monitor the number of visitors to several grade levels. Due to space issues, lunches for several grades may become sign up only.

Fun Fact: Out of the 622 students enrolled in Hailey, only 432 families have a PAC account! A PAC (Parent Access Center) allows parent access to school information about their child. By logging into Parent Access, you can check your child's grades, assignments, and attendance.
