A message from me...
Good Afternoon and Happy Friday!
With the month of March on the horizon and the end of the quarter near, please take some time to review this weeks Family Update. There is quite a bit information for families.
Thanks for all your help and support. Enjoy the weekend!

Religious Holidays
We have a number of holidays upcoming that many students and families recognize over the next couple of months, including Ramadan and Easter. We are grateful and celebrate our diverse community. We recognize the value and sense of belonging that comes from engaging in religious practices. Our goal is to ensure that all members of our learning community can observe important religious traditions without facing negative consequences.
In accordance with Board Policy 5200, the district allows up to three Religious Expression Days per school year for students to observe holidays or participate in faith-based activities. Students who use approved Religious Expression Days will not face academic penalties and will receive accommodations for missed exams, assignments, or other academic requirements.
If your family is in need of assistance our guidance please click the link below.
Panorama Survey: March 7, 2025
On Friday March 7th during 2nd period, all DCS High School students in will have the opportunity to participate in a questionnaire asking their perceptions about school and student support.

To opt your child out of the questionnaire, click here: Opt-Out Spring 2025
Infinite Campus Attendance Portal
Thank you for submitting your students' absences through the attendance notification portal in IC. Once you have submitted the absence through the portal YOU DO NOT NEED to email the DJHS attendance. Duplicate notifications slow down the ability to process absences. Emails to DJHS attendance should only be used for sending follow up medical notes. We appreciate your help and understanding.
Upcoming Events
P/T Conference Night
Thursday, March 6 will be our final P/T Conference Night for the school year from 3:00-6:30 pm. This is a great time to reach out to your child's teacher about progress or specific questions. Please reach out to the teacher to schedule a time.
Little Shop Of Horrors
The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!
A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre-goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.
