This self-paced module is designed for elementary literacy teachers who would like to use the print or digital Into Reading! or ¡Arriba la lectura! to its full potential. It's intended to be a hands-on experience, so be prepared to explore Ed your friend in Learning account.

1. Log in to your HMH account and click on the Teaching and Planning section of HMH professional learning modules (see video or step by step instructions below).
2. Read and listen to Gathering Your Print Teaching Materials and/or Exploring Digital Instructional Materials.
3. Select your respective grade level for the following modules:

- Planning a Reading Workshop Lesson
- Developing Writers
4. Complete the Teaching and Planning Reflection Form (purple link below).

Deliverable: Vocabulary Lesson Plan Outline Directions
- In a module of your choice, select one Introduction to Oral Language (K-2) or an Introduction to Critical Vocabulary (3-5) lesson.
- Identify the vocabulary words that you will focus on.
- Using your teacher's guide and the template provided below, create a vocabulary lesson outline that takes into account each piece. A word version has been provided below as well.
- Submit your completed lesson as the artifact for your module badge using the lesson deliverable button below.
- Take a snip or screen shot of your completed submission and post in K-5 Literacy HMH Plan & Teach.
- Complete the post-assessment questionnaire.
