WILDCAT NEWS
May 2024
News from Ms. Harcus
Hello Westside Family!
Can you believe that we are in the last weeks of the 2023/24 school year? Wow! Time sure does fly when you are having fun!! This has been such a wonderful year full of so many things to celebrate. From the academic and social emotional growth of our students to our identity work and commitment to Community Circles and Restorative Practices. I am so incredibly proud of our school and the success we have seen this year. Our Wildcats have grown so much, they amaze me each and every day!
We are planning some fun things in the weeks to come including the Fun Run, Field Day, Grade Level Field Trips, 5th Grade Promotion Celebration, and our end of the year Family Party on the Playground!. It should be a fun-filled couple of weeks as we celebrate our successes and just enjoy each other's company.
I hope that you all enjoy the month of May and we get lots of sunshine and warm days. As always, we are here for you if your family needs anything. Never hesitate to reach out!
With Love and Gratitude,
Nikki Harcus, Principal
