Principal's Message
Thank you for a wonderful year. It has been an honor to be at the helm of Weston-McEwen High School. I am so grateful to be a part of the AWSD community. This is the last TigerScot Times until August. Please check our reader board and website for ongoing updates. Graduation
Congratulations to our 60 seniors that received their high school diplomas! We are so excited to see where you go. Represent Weston-McEwen High School with pride!
Class of 2024 Seniors at Weston-McEwen High School enjoyed a new event during Graduation Week. On Thursday, May 30th, the students and their parents attended the Senior Banquet, organized by the high school. It was held in the gym and included a catered dinner, during which a slideshow featuring each Senior was highlighted. Then, multiple awards were presented...
Summer Credit Recovery
Weston-McEwen is offering the summer course recovery program beginning June 17th from 8:00 – 12:00 Monday through Thursday. The program will continue through August 1st with the week of July 4th off. Credit recovery will be graded and completed through the Virtual Learning Academy staff using the Edmentum platform, unless students received an “Incomplete” grade and have assignments from teachers. Staff will review student progress throughout the summer and work with students who need further assistance with their credit recovery efforts.
There is no charge for this program and limited bussing will be available. Sack lunches with breakfast items for the following day are provided. Please contact the office or julie.owens@athwestsd.org if your student needs transportation support and to confirm that your student will be attending our program.

Clubs Corner
Atina Club
On Thursday, June 6th, members of the CTUIR (Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation) General Council presented the Athena-Weston School District with a special gift. At a ceremony at Weston-McEwen High School (WMHS), the tribal members presented and helped raise the CTUIR flag on the flagpole at the school. That flag and four other flags given by CTUIR will be flown at AWSD’s three schools and in their two gyms. Read more about the event.

Members that are participating in summer events need to coordinate parent supervision and livestock transportation. Ms. Reeder will continue to be the point of contact for summer programming.
Trapshooting
