SHOUT OUTS

Thank you to all of our volunteers that made the 2024 Otoe County Fair possible!

Did you see an outstanding volunteer or 4-H'er? Let us know so we can shout them out next week!

Congratulations Philip! Philip Armknecht was the Otoe County Fair's 1st Supreme Marksman award winner! Phil had a stellar year on the ranges. Phil competed in Archery, Air Rifle, BB Gun, & Shotgun.

In the shotgun competition, Phil had a rough 1st box, but came back with a 20/25 on his 2nd box for a score of 30/50 in trapshooting.

In the air rifle competition, Phil was the intermediate champion shooting a score of 182/300, was the top overall air rifle shooter & owned the overall top air rifle scorecard with 73 on his kneeling target.

In the archery competition, Phil was the intermediate freestyle champion with a solid 262/300.

Finally, Phil competed in the bb gun competition and was 5 points behind the reserve champion in the intermediate division scoring a 295/400.

Congratulations Phil on an outstanding fair season on the range!

Post-Fair Reminders:

Award cards must be returned by Friday, August 2nd, or 4-Hers will receive cash as a prize.
ALL purple stall banners must be returned to the office in order to receive awards.

We found that some families do not have their “family email” set to receive emails. Please go into your 4-H Online account & make sure that you have a family email set AND it is switched to “yes” for “Subscribe To Emails”
