Student Intervention Meetings Begin
At DMS, we continue to work with our students to find ways to keep them informed and supported. Recently, the administration, counselors, and support staff met with your student to discuss the importance of academic effort. (Per the student handbook on page 9, students must meet academic and behavior criteria to participate in End-of-Year activities.) Students were also introduced to the support staff we have here at DMS for extra assistance. Please continue to check student performance in Infinite Campus regularly. We look forward to partnering with you to support your DMS student(s), and please, reach out to us as needed.
Sincerely,
The DMS Support Team
Parent Involvement = Student Success! How To Check Grades & Canvas
HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT YOUR STUDENT? Please log in to Infinite Campus to discuss grades and assignments with your student often. Become an observer in Canvas to see what assignments your student has been assigned. Attendance is also very important. Please check the academic calendar to ensure that your child is at school (as long as they are healthy enough to attend). There are links below to assist you if needed.
