Middle School Matters
May 6, 2024
Be Safe. Be Respectful.
Be Responsible. Be Ready to Learn
The Mission of Portsmouth Middle School is to create a strong and safe learning environment: promote social, emotional and physical well-being and to provide opportunities for each student, to the best of their ability, to meet high academic standards, develop responsibility, and achieve the positive social values and behaviors to become productive citizens.
Teacher Appreciation
On behalf of our admin team, we want to acknowledge our dedicated faculty and staff during teacher appreciation week. I say faculty and staff because we all work together to ensure that your children have an excellent experience at school. When I was hired, I realized quickly that we were blessed to have an experienced staff who know what a middle schooler needs to be successful both at school and beyond. They provide a personalized learning environment, which helps students feel connected to school. Please join me in thanking our faculty and staff this week and beyond.
School Nurse Day
Today honored School Nurse Day. We are thrilled to have Mrs. Joncas at our school everyday not only representing us, but also the district the Nurse supervisor. She is a person that our students feel very comfortable going to for any type of need they have including just a friendly person to check in with. Thank you Mrs. Joncas for your service to our school and district!

They have designed lessons in order to share their passion for robotics and coding, sparking curiosity and fostering collaboration.
