Ahoy, Patriot Families!

Thank you for joining us on Curriculum Night. We had a fantastic turnout and we are looking forward to working with you as partners to support your child's learning and growth in all areas.

We have sold out of red spirit shirts once again! The primary students (PK-3rd) are going to be looking sharp on Spirit Days! Our PTO will be creating a form for families, so we can put in another order for red. We have plenty of BLUE shirts for our 4th-6th grade students! I believe our primary students might be winning the upcoming Spirit Wars! Don't forget: every Friday is Spirit Day at Liberty! Wear a Spirit Shirt or Red/White/Blue!

We are working on our Club offerings for the Fall Semester. These are classes that are offered before or after regular school hours and are taught by our very own Liberty staff. It's a great way for students to get to know new friends outside of their usual classroom cohort and to learn something fun and new in the process! Be on the lookout for Club Information soon! Clubs will start in September!

The School Council is a decision-making body designed to bring together parents, the community, administrators, teachers, and staff to facilitate school improvement. If you are interested in joining our group, please send me an email at jpenoyer@pvschools.net. We meet once a month on Tuesday mornings from 8:00am-8:30am.

Our Kindergarten classes have been celebrating COLOR DAYS this past week! Let's show our support by joining them next week!

Our Weekly STARS Student nominations begin next week, but this week we started calling student names from STARS cards. We pull cards every Wednesday and students can select an item from our STARS store. Students earn STARS cards by following our STARS expectations of being Safe, Trustworthy, Accountable, Respectful and Supportive! Below are some of this week's winners:

Liberty now has Community Ed Preschool and there are openings! Register your child at this link. Pass the word to family and friends! We are excited to bring this program to our campus!

If you would like to volunteer during morning recess (before school), please find Mr. Dave or another staff member, sign in on the clipboard, and wear the visitor sticker.

If you would like to visit your child at lunch and/or volunteer for lunch/recess duty, please sign in at the front office and wear the visitor sticker.

If you would like to volunteer in the classroom, please reach out to your child's teacher.

Regular attendance is essential to a student's success at school and a powerful predictor of student outcomes. Tardies and absences prevent students from experiencing growth and success. Please read here for information on Attendance Policy and Reporting, Tardies and Arizona Law.
