A Message from Our Principal
Dear Farnham Families,
I want to take a moment to share some important updates and upcoming events with you.
-
Lockdown Drill: On Wednesday, we practiced a lockdown drill as part of our commitment to school safety. Our students and staff did a great job following procedures, and we appreciate your support in reinforcing the importance of these drills at home.
-
Report Cards: Second trimester report cards went home this week. Please take a moment to review your child’s progress, and feel free to reach out to their teacher if you have any questions.
-
Classroom Informances with Mr. Tony: Our students have been working hard in theater class, and we’re excited for you to see their classroom informances! Please check your child’s classroom communication for the specific date and time of their performance.
-
Adult Night Out – Saturday, March 22: I am looking forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming Adult Night Out event! It will be a wonderful opportunity to connect as a school community and support Farnham. (See below for more details.)
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. This is a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL for students as we have a staff in service day tomorrow (Friday). Have a great weekend!
Be well,
Amy O'Hehir
Farnham Principal
P.S. Don't forget to scroll to the end of the newsletter to see pictures of what's happening at Farnham!
Parking Lot Reminder
The parking lot is for STAFF ONLY. We have over 50 staff members that come on campus at various times during the day. Please do not park in the parking lot during drop-off, pick-up or throughout the day while volunteering or visiting. We appreciate your help!
A NOTE FROM YOUR HSC BOARD:
Hello Fabulous Farnham Families.
This Friday, March 14, is the last day to purchase pre-sale tickets for our Gatsby-themed Night on the Town before prices increase. This fun-filled evening of dinner, music, raffles, and an auction with incredible prizes will take place on Saturday, March 22, from 5-8pm at Number 1 Broadway in Los Gatos. Auction items include food, drinks, experiences, vacations, and unique Farnham items like reserved seats for 5th-grade graduation, a premium parking spot, and the opportunity to act as principal for a day. Bring any adult who wants to support the Farnham HSC and our school activities.
Our youngest grade has joined in the Track Pack fun with the TK students beginning to participate in the Tuesday activity, but we need your help. We are looking for volunteers who can come on a Tuesday from 11:25am-1pm. If you have time, please sign up here and be sure to scroll to the bottom for the future dates.
Our next Walk to School day will be taking place on Wednesday, March 26. Meet up with us at Houge Park by 7:50am to celebrate walking safely to school with your friends and Farnham community.
Know of a local business looking for a way to reach the community or who would want to support Farnham? We've extended the deadline for our Walkathon business sponsorships to this Friday, March 14. Please have them reach out to sponsorfarnhamwalkathon@gmail.com and confirm they are interested so we can get them included on this year's t-shirt.
As always we look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback and please reach out if you have any questions.
