A Message from Mrs. Posey
PCMS 8th Graders will take a field trip this month where they will get to explore career opportunities. On Wednesday, November 20th, the 8th-grade students will attend Pathways to Possibilities (P2P) at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum in Biloxi. Pathways to Possibilities will take place from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM. P2P is an interactive career expo for all Gulf Coast 8th Grade students. At the expo, students will spend two hours exploring many of the careers available in our region. We are confident this will be a rewarding and motivating experience for all of our students!

ALL 8th Graders must wear a blue Pass Christian shirt or sweatshirt to the event.
This helps us to identify and keep track of our students, as well as TV crews will be there filming, and we would like to show our Pirate Pride! All 8th graders must submit their permission form and Class of 2029 t-shirt/hoodie order before Monday, Nov 4th. If your student needs another copy, it can be found here.

Mr. Hunter Jones
M.Ed. in Educational Leadership
Email: hjones@pc.k12.ms.us
With the '24-'25 school year, Mr. Jones is starting his 9th year in education and 2nd year with the Pass Christian Public School District. Mr. Jones grew up on the Gulf Coast, attending school in the Ocean Springs School District and graduating from Ocean Springs High School in 2012. He received his undergraduate degree, a B.A.Ed. in Secondary Education, from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in 2016. He then began his career in education as an English Teacher at Gautier High School (Gautier, MS) where he also coached the Gators' varsity Football and Baseball teams. In 2020, Mr. Jones moved to Ocean Springs High School where he taught English II (State Testing) for three years. During this time, he also received his M.Ed. in K-12 Educational Leadership, once again from The University of Mississippi, and graduated in the spring of 2022. Mr. Jones is currently pursuing his Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Instructional Leadership through William Carey University. Personally, Mr. Jones is the proud husband of a fellow teacher as his wife is a high school U.S. History teacher. Together they have one son who will be 1 year old in March of 2025. As a family, they love spending time traveling to historical sites & sporting events. He was honored to accept the position of Assistant Principal of Pass Christian Middle School to start the '23-'24 school year.
The Pass Christian Middle School years are marked by the beginning of new things. With four years at Pass Christian High School just on the horizon, a lot of learning, as well as growing, is taking place. Pass Christian Middle School offers many opportunities to make the most of these βmiddle yearsβ and make great memories in the process. As students from Pass Christian Elementary and DeLisle Elementary come together for the first time to share the same classrooms, Pass Christian Middle School is a place where friendships are formed, lessons are learned, and memories are made. Pass Christian Middle School is a highly rated public school serving students in grades 6-8 from the Pass Christian, Mississippi community.
