Happy Sunday PK-8 Coyotes!

We can't believe that we have completed the third week of school and are about to start the fourth week.

Just a few reminders and updates for our school.

PK-8 Family Game Night - August 24 (5:00-6:00) in new gym/cafeteria

We hope you can join us at this month's Family Math & Game Night. Students who come with their families will receive a free dress pass. All events are free. Check out the flyer below for more information.

Family Fitness Friday- August 25 (PK-6th Grade Parents)

Families, bring your work-out clothes and your water bottle! Coach Vega & Coach Flores are super excited to host our first Family Fitness Friday this week. Families in grades PK-6th grade are invited to participate with their child during PE time (times found below). Parents will come in and sign-in through the iron gates between both our buildings.

Student Progress Reports for PK-8

Progress reports for our PK-8 students will go out this week. Please take a few moments to go over the report with your child. For any questions regarding your child's progress, do not heistate to reach out to your child's teacher to set up a conference.

Questions to Ask Your Child's Teacher

-What are my child's strengths and weaknesses? ...
-How would you describe my child as a student/learner? ...
-Where would you like to see my child make changes? ...
-What can I do to support your efforts?

School Attendance - "Attendance Matters. Every Student. Every Day!"

We take a lot of pride in our attendance at Tornillo PK-8. Please help us maintain our daily attendance at 98%! Remember to send your child to school every day. If your child is absent, please remember to send a note to the office on the day they return.

Help your homeroom class win a popcorn party! Classes with 100% Attendance for the week get a popcorn party on Friday for the week!
