All Pro Dads Meeting
Our next All Pro Dads meeting is on Friday, May 2nd! . Please bring your son or daughter to learn more about the transition from junior high to high school. Light continental breakfast will be served. All meetings will start at 8am in the library. Contact Coach Weaver with any questions. Please plan to come out for any of our meetings listed below this semester.

Reminders From Our Front Office
Friendly Reminders as we near the end of the school year :
- Students cannot receive lunch delivers from any restaurant. No Door Dash, Uber Eats, Pizza Delivery, etc.
- Parents can drop off a lunch to the student. The parent must sign-in at the receptionist desk, place the lunch on a cart in front of the Receptionist office, label the lunch with your student's name, and leave it for pick up.
Parent Pick Up:
- Parents can sign out their students not later than 3:45 p.m. No EXECEPTIONS. Anyone picking up student MUST be on Skyward.
Item Drop Off:
- We know our students will leave things at home from time to time. Please bring the following forgotten items to school; Chromebook, glasses, wallet, keys, forgotten homework or projects. All other items are not necessary for the day and should be left at home.
Message from our Clinic
If your child has medication in the clinic, please pick up by 05/22/2025. Please make arrangements for a parent/guardian to pick medication up, no medication will be sent home with students. All medication not picked up by 05/22/2025 by 2:30pm will be discarded. If you would like for the medication to be discarded instead of you picking it up, please let the clinic staff know via email or phone:

School Issued ID's
Students must wear a current James Coble MS ID around their neck to enter the building, throughout the day, and any time they are on campus.
- School ID's will be issued after the first week of school.
- We provide 2 ID’s to every student at no cost. Each additional ID costs $5. Please remind your students of the importance of wearing their ID’s every day.
- Administration will be walking the halls between classes and will identify students who do not have their ID’s.
- Students who are not wearing their Coble ID will receive 2 days of lunch detention.
Cell Phone - Personal Electronics Policy
Students are expected to keep their devices turned off and stored away during the school day. Students who violate the campus policy will be subject to disciplinary actions.

Tennis Tryouts
Tennis try-outs and a brief question/answer meeting for the 2025-2026 before school tennis class will take place on May 5th from 5:30-6:30pm at the Timberview Tennis courts. Stop by to meet Coach Cuccia and ask him any questions you may have.

JCMS Student Council
Student Council will meet twice a month on Wednesdays after school until 5pm in the library. See Mrs. Silerio ( library), Mrs. Noonan ( B5), or Coach Kyner (Lab 2) with any questions.
Leading Ladies
Leading Ladies is a club designed to increase awareness of transitions through life and building positive relationships with peers as well as adults. Students are encouraged to practice mindful techniques to promote balance, a feel of calm, and reduce anxiety. Learning to manage and provide them with skills to be successful leaders on and off campus.
We will meet up during both lunches starting on October 7th. You can stop by Coach Luong’s room (D8) next week to get a pass. Only 25 girls will be selected. I will go over requirements and give you a packet about information in this session. We are looking for strong leaders and people that want to have a positive impact on others. Join the Chess Club!
Chess Club -- Every Monday after school until 5pm. Come join us in Mrs. Cross' room - B6. Interested but have never played -- that's ok, we can teach you. Played for a long time -- then bring it. . . our group loves to give anyone a challenge. See you soon!!
Fellowship of Christian Athletes ( FCA)
FCA Bible Study will be held every Monday beginning September 9, 2024. We will meet in the library at 8:15. This is for all students, and faculty who would like to participate. We are excited to learn what God's plan is for each of us. We hope you will join us. Contact Coach Thibert with any questions.
Boys2Men Male Mentoring
Boys2Men Male Mentoring is an after-school program designed to provide young male students with guidance from positive male role models. Our goals are to assist young men in character development, goal setting, decision making, and critical thinking skills by conducting small group discussions and project based learning from a variety of topics that are relevant to the lives and futures of the young men, setting the standard of what it is to be a young man at Coble Middle School.
Boys2Men Male Mentoring will meet after school on Wednesdays in Coach Gray's room (AVID, across from the gym) starting Wednesday 9/25 during 1st and 2nd lunch periods. Students will get their lunch then come to the AVID room.

Message from the Library
All Library Books due May 2nd
Please remind your student to return any library books before the last day of school. Any book not returned will be considered lost and a fine for the book will be added to student's Skyward accounts the week of May 19th. If the book is returned to campus over the summer, the fine will be waived. Otherwise, fines can be paid electronically via Skyward. For directions on paying fines, visit our Library website.
