You're invited to the FAME Program Open House Event at Toyota R&D!
This is an excellent event to engage seniors in a career opportunity after graduating. FAME is a 2 year program that provides students with employment in manufacturing and an associate degree in Mechatronics. The FAME program should be considered by students engaged in CTE or trades courses but no experience is required to join. For security purposes, individuals must register for this event. FEBRUARY IS CTE MONTH!
Video News Production class visits Channel 4!
On February 8th, Mr. Bush's Video News Production classes visited the Channel 4 news studio in Detroit. Thanks to Nick Monacelli and Rhonda Walker for taking the time to shoot this promo with our students.

Why did you take Automotive Technology 2? I was drawn in by the opportunity to spend the first half of the day doing what I love: working on cars. After an amazing experience during my first year, the decision to come back for the second year class was practically made for me.
What is your favorite part about the class? I enjoy that we spend more time in the lab than in the classroom.
What connection do you see from this class to the real world? As an aspiring automotive engineer, the knowledge I have acquired in this class will definitely help me in my career.
How has this class positively impacted your life? This class has taught me valuable hard skills in automotive repair.

Why did you take Computer Integrated Manufacturing in high school? I was recommended to take this class after taking CAD classes offered.
What was your favorite part about the class? My favorite part of this class was the opportunity to work hands-on at all times.
What connection do you see from this class to the real world? This class gave me skills that can be taken into the manufacturing industry.
How did this class positively impact your life? This class allowed me to enter the industry using the skills that I learned in my two years.
What was a highlight from the class? A highlight was attending SkillsUSA nationals in Atlanta in 2023.
Has your student's medical or contact information changed since the beginning of the school year?
As we approach field trip and competition season, we are requesting that you complete the General Permissions Form again ONLY if your student's medical, contact information, etc. has changed since the first time you completed the form.
