Behavior Expectations Memo
Welcome back!
We are excited for a whole new year of working with you and your students. As you know, building a supportive school culture of high expectations for behavior, engagement and academics is a top priority for St. Albans City School. As we return to school from our winter break, we are visiting each of the grade levels and reviewing School Behavior Expectations with your children. During the school day on Friday, January 3rd, Administrators and Guidance Counselors spent time with students and staff to review and re-establish these expectations and answer questions they may have. In these conversations the following topics were discussed:
See Something/Say Something
Being respectful and engaged
School is your job
Things you can and cannot bring to school
Expectations when support is needed
We are working hard to provide and support a positive school climate where all members of the school community feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Happy 2025,
Stephanie Gagnon (Dr. G), Principal
