Welcome to the BHS Express
A newsletter keeping you informed about Batavia High School
Hello Bulldog Families.
The craziness of a high school in May is in abundance at BHS! This week, while wrapping up AP testing, we hosted the district art show, had band and guitar concerts, and continued supporting our seniors as they get ready to enjoy their celebrations next week.
A few of our spring sports’ teams are still in postseason competition, all while getting ready for a commencement ceremony followed by four days of school for our students in grades 9-11. Oh, and, we are already finalizing some plans for back-to-school in August 2024!
During this busy time, it’s important that we help our students get their school responsibilities in order while taking some time to reflect upon the positives of the 2023-2024 school year. Thank you for helping them process the highlights of the current school year and perhaps set some goals for the 2024-2025 school year!
We look forward to seeing everyone back for another busy May week on the campus of Bulldog Place!
In service to our Bulldogs.

Dear Valued Batavia School District Families,
We are thrilled to announce an enriching opportunity to embrace cultural exchange within our community. We are seeking a warm and welcoming family to host a bright and enthusiastic exchange student, a young boy from Mexico, for a few months starting in late August 2024 through the Rotary Youth Exchange program. He will have several host families throughout the 2024-25 academic school year.
This is a unique chance to open your hearts and homes, to share your family's traditions, and to make a lasting impact on a student's life while learning about the rich heritage of Mexico. As a host family, you will play a pivotal role in providing a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters educational growth and cultural understanding.
If you are interested in this rewarding experience and wish to create lifelong international friendships, please contact us for more details by emailing the address below.
Let's come together to make this a memorable time for our exchange student and your family!
