November News
A Note from Mrs Jeffers
As we say goodbye to October and welcome the month of November, we are excited to continue to embrace the changes in the season and all the fun activities it brings! Last month our students enjoyed exploring our pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, and trick-or-treating with other programs in the Boston building. This month provides a wonderful opportunity to explore gratitude and learn about the importance of appreciating the people and things in their lives. A school-wide activity that our Little Learners are all participating in is to create a large tree in our hallway, where each child can add a leaf with something they are thankful for written on it. With close to 185 students enrolled, we expect it to be a full and beautiful tree!! We encourage you to talk to your child at home about being thankful. No matter how young or old, it is always important to think about and recognize the good in our lives.
As always, thank you for your continued support and involvement. Together, we are fostering a community of kindness and gratitude!
Little Learners Leader: Terrence
Terrence is a patient and kind friend. He is always very patient when it comes to waiting his turn and he will even offer for someone else to take a turn before him. What a great friend! Thanks for being a Little Learners Leader!
Little Learners Leader: Maya
Maya is often times the first friend to lend a helping hand in the classroom when a peer or teacher is in need. Thanks for being a leader and demonstrating such helpfulness, Maya!!
Parent Information Night- NOVEMBER 13, 2024
On almost a weekly ocurrance, one of our staff may be asked the question, "what can I do to help my son/daughter at home?" We love this question, as it shows that you are wanting to carryover of skills and learning activities in the home setting. Repetition and frequent exposure to concepts can be so very beneficial to our preschool students. That being said, we also recognize that often times parents may be unsure of what is developmentally appropriate for a preschool aged child to learn.
Because of this, we are hosting a parent information night!! We strongly encourage you to join us on Wednesday, November 13th from 6:00-7:00 pm (Boston Site- Enter Door 1) to learn more about how you can also help your child. Childcare will be offered and you will be given ideas, tips, tricks, and strategies to use at home. We promise you this will be a very beneficial learning experience! Who doesn't want to walk away with over 25 ideas and activities to do in the home setting?!! We really hope you will join us and we can't wait to see you!
Upcoming Events:
November 8th: Little Learners School Spirit Day!
November 13: 6pm Parent Information Night. JOIN US!!!
November 25-29: No School, Happy Thanksgiving
