SC4 STEMfest
See you this Saturday, March 9 at SC4 STEM Fest!
Registration remains open for SC4 STEM Fest at sc4.edu! We look forward to seeing you from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 for more than 100 hands-on interactive science, technology, engineering and math exhibits.
In addition to the many experiences that will take place continuously through the Experience Center, Challenger Learning Center, Fine Arts Building, and SC4 Fieldhouse, the timed activities listed below are offered with limited availability and require registration prior to March 8.
Yale High School Awarded MCAN Grant
Yale High School is proud to announce $25,000 in grant funding from Michigan College Access Network along with seven other Michigan high schools. Yale has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to postsecondary education access and success, and this grant will help build on that work. In alignment with Michigan’s Sixty by 30 goal, High School Innovation Grants encourage schools to assess and improve their college-going cultures through a multi-year collaborative process. Yale will work with MCAN and community partners to develop sustainable, building-wide plans to improve postsecondary outcomes for our students.

MCAN Spring Application Week
Michigan College Access Network (MCAN) Spring Application Week is coming soon! There are many colleges and universities that never charge an application fee, and others have agreed to waive their fees March 18-22.
Community Foundation Scholarships Still Available
The Community Foundation of St. Clair County is accepting scholarship applications for the 2024-2025 school year! Are you a graduating high school senior or returning back to school to finish your degree? We have scholarship opportunities for you whether your headed to a community college, 4-year university or trade school. All of the scholarships may be used for tuition and fees, room and board, books and educational expenses.

The evening of February 22, over 1,000 10th graders & families from across St. Clair County county attended Annual TEC Open House to learn more about career and technical education programs available to 11th and 12th-grade students. SC4’s Summer Semester Classes
Registration is open for SC4’s summer semester classes. Make the most of your summer this year by enrolling in a class at St. Clair County Community College. The schedule of classes is available now at https://sc4sss03.sc4.edu/student/courses. Nearly 90 unique classes are offered in over 20 disciplines, including art, astronomy, business, health education, history, and welding. Current students can register via their Service Center accounts. New and returning students should submit a free application for admission at https://forms.sc4.edu/apply/.
Summer classes have varied start dates; the summer semester begins Monday, May 13.
