Brooker Creek Elementary Update - Week of 4/28/25

Dr. Brown's Weekly Message
This week Brooker Creek is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week, an opportunity to let our teachers know how much they are appreciated and valued. I am hoping that you will join me in celebrating the truly outstanding teachers and staff that we have at Brooker Creek. The dedication and commitment that they show each, and every day is truly inspiring. If nothing more than an email, I hope that each family can take a moment this week to say, "Thank You" or "Great Job" to a teacher or staff member for the outstanding job that they perform each and every day for the students of Brooker Creek. Thank you.
Mrs. Gerber's Message
We're in the home stretch! Only 23 days of school left! That's right, the finish line is in sight. Dr Brown and I have challenged all students to sprint, not coast; to the finish line. Please help us in reminding your scholars that attitude is everything. This is the time to double down on your effort. Try Your Best, to Do Your Best, and we will finish this year strong, on top, and with pride in what we've accomplished.
We've got some exciting celebrations coming up, and we're really looking forward to seeing you all there! Keep an eye out for the announcements and join us in making these last few weeks memorable.
Now, for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, we have some important testing just around the corner. We're confident that our scholars are well-prepared. Please help us by making sure your student get a good night's sleep the night before and fuel up with a healthy breakfast on testing days. Together we can make sure our students are up for the challenge.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you for your continued support and partnership. We truly value your collaboration in making this school year a success. Let's make these last 23 days the best ones yet!
GO BOBCATS!!!

BOBCAT BASH
Dr. Brown and I have developed an end of the year challenge for our students targeting their academic commitment and perseverance over the next 23 days. We visited intermediate classrooms on Friday and we will visit the primary classrooms on Monday to talk about the three components of the challenge: Try Your Best, Attitude is Everything and Do your Best. All students that display these three indicators will be invited to the BOBCAT BASH!
In order for the BASH to be successful, we need your generosity and support! We need donations and volunteers to make this BAST the best event of the year.
Below you will find two links. One will take you to the donations form where you can sign up to bring in supplies for the event. The second link will allow you to sign up to volunteer on Friday, May 23rd.
Additionally, we are looking for a DJ, Inflatables and large-scale Party Games. If you have or can assist us in this area, please reach out to our Family & Community Liaison, Mrs. Kloepfer.

Thank you Mrs. Livingston!
If you have not noticed, our Welcome to Brooker Creek sign received a much needed face lift this week. Thank you to Mrs. Livingston and our art scholars for creating the beautiful Paw Print Mosaic that is not in the middle of our sign. This amazing addition to our welcome sign has certainly given our front entrance a face lift. If you have not seen it sparkle in the sun, make sure you take a look at it next time you drive by.
