Parents,

We had another great week at Belton Elementary School. This past week we had our iReady Diagnostic in Reading. It has been so exciting celebrating the growth with our students!

On Tuesday, we will have our iReady Math Diagnostic. Please make sure your child is well-rested, eats a healthy breakfast, and is on time for school so that they can do their best!

The BHP band sent a few members over to play Christmas music in our hallways as students arrived to school. Our kids loved it!

The last day before Christmas Break will be a half day. We will begin dismissal at 11:00am.

We will be having a Christmas Movie Pajama Party Thursday, December 12. If they are participating, students can wear their pajamas to school. Here are the details below!

Cost - $5 (Now collecting money)
Time - 2:30-4:30pm
Movie - The Grinch (Animated version)
Snack - Salty Snack and Juice
Location - Gym

*BES Student only event.
*Students must have their own transportation from the event. Buses will not be available.

*Pick Up - In Normal Dismissal Spots
3rd Grade - Bus Loop
4th Grade - Teacher Parking Lot
5th Grade - Front of School

*If multiple students are riding home together, please be sure that is communicated with the teacher/office ahead of time.

Students carpooling from different grades - They will be picked up with the lowest grade. For example, 4th and 5th graders riding together, they will be picked up in the 4th grade pick up spot (Teacher Parking lot). 3rd, 4th, 5th grade students riding together, students will be picked up in the 3rd grade pick up spot (bus loop).

Our Music Ideals students had their Winter Concert. They did a wonderful job under the direction of Mrs. Charli Mitchell.

PTO would like to invite you to paint the rock for your child's birthday or to celebrate

Cost - $20

Paint - You are responsible for painting the rock with your own paint supplies

You must call the office if you need to change the transportation for how your child normally gets home. Messaging the teacher on Class Dojo will not work because teachers will most likely not see your message until students are already gone.

If your child is a car rider and would like to eat breakfast at school, please be sure to get them to school as early as possible to give them plenty of time to eat. The hot breakfast line ends at 7:35am. I would suggest getting your child to school before 7:30am to ensure they are getting a hot breakfast, and are not rushed.

The tardy bell will ring at 7:45am. Students must be in their classroom by 7:45am in order to not be tardy. Parents must park and walk their child in if they are tardy.

Students will not be allowed to be dismissed from class after 2:00pm without administrator approval. Please plan doctor appointments accordingly.

Breakfast and Lunch are free for all of our students this year!
