This year’s PSAT exam will be held on Saturday, October 26, starting at 8:00 a.m. The test will be held at Lakeville North High School.

The PSAT test is for Sophomores and Juniors. Register for the PSAT exam through the School Store in Infinite Campus. The cost of the exam is $35. The test is 2 hours and 45 minutes in length; unless you qualify for extended-time accommodations. The deadline to register is Sunday, October 13, at 10:00 p.m.

To register for the exam:

• Log into the Infinite Campus portal on your mobile device
• Select “School Store” in the left sidebar menu
• Click on the “Shop” button for Lakeville South High School
• Select “Exam Fees”
• Select “View” for the PSAT
• Select the Recipient and then add the item to your cart and proceed to payment

A make-up exam will be offered on Tuesday, October 29, at 8:00 a.m. at Lakeville South High School. The makeup date is reserved for students who miss the regular date with a valid reason (illness, conflict, etc.). All students should register for the October 26 exam, and if you are absent, you will automatically be moved to October 29.

Parking passes are available for either year-long or semester-long duration. They can be picked up beginning the first day of school or purchased during the semester. See complete details regarding parking at South in the LSHS Student Handbook on pages 41-42. Instructions to purchase the pass and documentation needed (2-part process) are as follows:

1. Log into the parent Infinite Campus application on your mobile device or visit: https://isd194.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/parents/lakeville.jsp
2. Click on SCHOOL STORE in the left sidebar menu.
3. Click on the SHOP button for Lakeville South High School.
4. Click on VIEW under the Parking Permit.
5. In the pop-up window, fill out the Parking Permit Signup Form AND the form that allows you to add the Parking Permit to your cart. This is a 2-step process. The Signup Form provides the driver and vehicle information and the second step allows you to add your parking pass to the cart and gathers the payment information.

If you would like a locker, please click on this link Locker Request Form.

If you have an area you would prefer your locker be located, please specify that on the Google Form. There are no guarantees that your locker will be located in that area, but an attempt will be made to accommodate your request.

Once it is assigned, your locker location and combo will show on your LSHS schedule - log into the Student Portal and go to Reports and pull up your schedule. If you have any trouble with this form or locker questions, please contact Heather Allen in Student Services heather.allen@isd194.org.

Eva recorded her 50th win of her career last week. She helped the Cougars win championships at the Saint James and New Prague Tournaments. Congratulations, Eva! Girls Tennis Finals:

September 3 Cougar of the Week

Adriana Clemon swam two personal bests this week versus Eagan on Thursday. She anchored the 200 Freestyle Relay with a 23.52 and followed it up with a 53.09 anchor performance for the 400 Freestyle Relay. Way to go, Adriana!

September 9 Cougar of the Week

Bo rushed for 179 yards and 4 Touchdowns to help the Cougars defeat Farmington 50-29. Bo's Friday night effort tied a school record for single game touchdowns. Very impressive, Bo!

This year’s first serve honoree was Naomi Rogness. Naomi is the Assistant Activities Director and is starting her 26th year here at Lakeville Schools. She has worked in the school district as a paraprofessional, receptionist and currently as the Assistant Activities Director.

Naomi and her husband Orlin have been married for 44 years. They have four children (Brynt and his wife Claire, Braden and his wife Maggie, Kavan and Cassie and her husband Bud). They also have nine grandchildren - Nolan, Nash, Bristol, Bianca, Lochlan, Gallagher, Lorelai, Magnolia and Henry.

Naomi has helped thousands of our participants and athletes as they begin and navigate their high school athletic careers, and is often the first person our athletes meet when they arrive at Lakeville South. She's always ready to help our players and families, and is the heart and soul of the Activities Department and our school community. Thank you, Naomi Rogness, for supporting Lakeville South Activities and all our KIDS!
