Dear Parents/Guardians & Students,

Welcome back, students and staff! I hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable Thanksgiving Break and are ready for the hustle and bustle that December brings. This is always an exciting and busy time as we work to finish the semester strong and prepare for the holidays.

With just a few weeks of instruction left, it’s important for everyone to focus on semester exams coming up soon. Remember, we offer an attendance incentive in the form of semester exam exemptions, but if you are not exempt please make every effort to ensure students are here for exams. If possible, schedule routine appointments outside of exam days to help your student stay on track.

Of course, we also want to enjoy this special season! Check out the calendar below for our theme days as we close out the semester and the year 2024. Let’s have some fun together while we finish strong!

These are our school-wide expectations for our students. Positive behavior fosters an environment where ALL students can learn and grow. It is our hope that our HMS families will discuss our school-wide behavior expectations and encourage positive behaviors at school and home.

Our school-wide expectations extend beyond the classroom. It is important that students also realize they are accountable for their behaviors in the hallway, cafeteria and at all school sponsored activities on and off campus.
