Cafecito September 28th 9:00AM: Annual Revision Meeting

Please join us in Room 601for our first Cafecito of the year on September 28, 2021 from 9:00AM-10:15AM. Come and enjoy some time with other parents and help us make this a great school year for our students. We will also take a little time to revise our Parent & Family Engagement Policy and our School-Parent Compact. Light breakfast snacks will be provided.

Scobee Middle School Open House October 5th 5:00PM-6:30PM

During Open House you will have an opportunity to be part of our annual Title I meeting, visit your child's teachers and participate in the annual revision of our Parent & Family Engagement Policy. You will also be able to participate in our community fair, and learn about volunteer activities and clubs you and your child can engage in at Scobee Middle School.

Parent Self Serve

It is so good to have our students back on campus. As we all adjust to a new school year I would like to encourage you to monitor you child's progress by accessing or creating your parent self serve account. Parent Self Serve makes it possible for you to view your child's progress, attendance and it simplifies emailing your child's teacher if you need to communicate with them. This link will show you how to create an account and this link will take you to the registration/ sign-in page.

September is Suicide Awareness Prevention Month

According to the CDC, intentional self-harm(suicide) is the second leading cause of adolescent deaths in the United States. Please take time this month to learn about suicide and how it can be prevented. Visit this link for more information.

Join our Scobee Middle School PTA

Support our Scobee PTA by becoming a member at JoinPTA. PTA will have a membership table during Open House. Parents who register as 2021-2022 Scobee PTA members at this event will receive a Scobee T-shirt while supplies last. When you register online at Join PTA you receive a virtual membership card. Use this card to redeem your shirt.


Bulletin Boards

Help us foster a positive campus climate with the use of positive messaging throughout our school. If you are creative and enjoy creating posters and designing bulletin boards we would love your help!


Scobee Garden

Do you have a green thumb or do you enjoy being outdoors? Our garden club members work in the garden on Tuesdays during their lunch time but we need volunteers to help them maintain the garden on days when they do not meet. If you would like to help us with watering, weeding, propagating or composting we would certainly appreciate it.


Parent and Family Engagement Committee

Do you have some ideas on how we can improve your child's educational experience? If you do, please consider joining this committee. As a member of this committee you would also be instrumental in getting the word out to the community about parent and family engagement opportunities and events.
