Welcome to the Third Marking Period!
Many many thanks to all of you who attended our January 16th Title I Survivor Island Family Math & State Assessment Night. It was really wonderful to aee all of you there visiting all the "islands", learning about ways you can support your child with math and the assements they take. Thank you for always being our partners! Check out the pictures below. They will make you smile!
As if last week's excitement wasn't enough, the next two week promise even more opportunities to come together and celebrate our students!
- Polar Pandemonium Concert is on Thursday, January 23rd @ 6:30. Please join us so you can enjoy our delightfully fantastic Panda Nation musicians!
- January Report Cards will come home on Tuesday, January 28th. Get ready to celebrate your childrens' growth and success!
- First Semester Recognition Assemblies: Be sure to join us on Thursday, January 30th to celebrate our students first semester accomplishments! The times are listed below. Looking forward to seeing you there!🐼❤️

ATTENDANCE CELEBRATIONS!
We all know that regular attendance is crucial to school success and in Panda Nation we are working REALLY hard to maintain a level of excellent attendance this year and we are proud to say that our schoolwide attendance continues to be above 92%! Bravo! Get ready to celebrate our Attendance Superstars at the First Semester Recognition Assembly on January 30th!
The classes listed below had the highest number of days with Perfect Attendance in the month of December! Congratulations!! Each of these classes gets to "host" a very special Panda guest for the entire month!🐼🧡

They are both PAWSitively Amazing and we think the world of them!

Equity, Engagement & Early Access
The SMCPS Equity for All Website features updated monthly celebrations, best practices resources, and a newly added Community Resource page. The purpose of the Equity for All site is to provide resources and supports for promoting excellence and equity in St. Mary's County Public Schools.
