Enrollment Verification is Thursday, August 1
- Grade 12 - 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- Grade 11 - 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Grade 10 - 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Grade 9 - 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Students who have completed the registration process
- Must provide two (2) updated proofs of residence (one must be within the last 30 days).
- Will receive class schedules, transportation information, iPads and other pertinent information.
- Proofs of residency will be verified in homeroom. Look for homeroom lists around campus to find out who your homeroom teacher will be!
Students who have not completed the registration process
- Must register through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
- Must submit two (2) proofs of residence.
- Returning students who have not already registered will register in the library.

Parking Passes, AP Fees & More!
Parking passes will be available for purchase from 12:00-3:00 in the varsity gym. Cost is $50 for the general lot and $60 for the senior lot. Cash or check only.
- 12th grade parking pass: 12:00-1:00
- 11th grade parking pass: 1:00-2:00
- 10th grade parking pass: 2:00-3:00
AP Fees
Students enrolling in AP courses will pay AP exam fees in the varsity gym. Cost is $97 per course, $145 for Capstone courses (AP Seminar and AP Research). Can be paid by cash, check or online at myschoolbucks.com.
Student Activity Pass
Student activity passes will be available in the varsity gym. Cost is $60 and provides admission to home athletic events, excluding tournaments and play off games. Cash or check only.
iPad Insurance
iPad insurance can be purchased in the varsity gym. Cost is $30 and can be paid by cash, check or online at myschoolbucks.com.
Bus and Lunch Information
Bus and lunch information will be available in the Study Hall (Room 10)
AHS Gear
Show your Tiger spirit! AHS gear will be available in the rotunda. Cash or check only.
New Student Orientation is Tuesday, August 6

1. Who attends New Student Orientation?
- All incoming freshman and new 10th-12th graders.
2. What is the schedule?
- 10th-12th grades: 10:00am-11:30am
- 9th grade: 4:00pm-7:00pm
- Parent orientation for all grades begins at 6:00pm
3. What will students be doing during orientation?
- Students will be working in teams to complete challenges all around the AHS campus. They will be led by members of our Student Activities Council, who will help introduce them to the Tiger way of life.
4. Can I show my proofs of residency at New Student Orientation?
- No, you cannot show your proofs of residency at New Student Orientation. All students must show their proofs of residency at Enrollment Verification on Thursday, August 1st. Click here for more information on what documents to bring.
5. When will my student receive his or her iPad and schedule?
- Class schedules and iPads will be issued at Enrollment Verification on August 1st after proofs of residency have been submitted and approved.
6. What is Parent Orientation?
- Parent Orientation is designed with our new parents in mind. You will have the opportunity to meet administrators and explore the AHS campus. Parent Orientation will provide you with valuable information that will help you support your student's transition to Arlington High School.
7. What should my child bring?
- Not a thing - just a smile and a good attitude!
