Wee Wuns Newsletter
NOVEMBER 2024
Director’s Message
Wow! What a busy and amazing month October was! The children loved visiting the Pumpkin Patch and their fascination and joy with it never ceases. We had an amazing 33rd Annual Fall Festival! The Fall Festival is our largest fundraiser of the year, and we could not continue this tradition without the hard work and dedication of our Helping Hands PTO!! We are also thankful to all of you who attended the festival, and we appreciate your continued support of Wee Wuns. We are blessed by our families!
We are looking forward to our Thanksgiving Feasts. This is one of my favorite traditions at Wee Wuns. As we consider the things we are most thankful for, please know that you and your family are a joy, and we count each of you as a special blessing.
November is a month of thankfulness and a time to remember and honor our Veterans who have graciously served our country. As we approach Veterans Day, thank you to any of our parents who have served and may we all be encouraged to keep our Veterans and any active-duty military personnel in our prayers.
Lastly, as we enter the third month of school, it is important that you know how your child is adapting to daily routines, how they are interacting with peers and how well they are participating in various activities throughout the day. It is our hope that the fall conference phone call you received from your child's teacher provided you with valuable information on how your child is progressing in these areas. Please do not hesitate to call our office if you have any questions or concerns regarding your fall phone conference.
I wish you all a truly blessed and happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!

Get With God
It is hard to believe that the holiday season is upon us. This is such a fun time with young children. I loved teaching my children our family traditions and creating new ones with them!
This month is very busy at school. We will finish up our Moses lessons by learning about the Ten Commandments, then talk about being thankful and, before we leave for Thanksgiving, we will start learning the Christmas story!
We will sing: How Great Is Our God, My Best Friend, J is for Jesus, and There Was a Little Baby
- Our memory verse this month is, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”. -1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Some things to do at home are:
Bed Time: Talk about all the things you are thankful for, even the not-so-great parts of the day.
Drive Time: Talk about things you are thankful for and listen to “How Great Is Our God” by Little Praise Party.
