📆 Attendance Matters
We’re noticing a great improvement in attendance this year, and we appreciate you going the extra mile to communicate your child’s needs with the office. Families have done a wonderful job bringing in doctor’s notes and providing us with the necessary documentation. Thank you for your support! We’d love to see this continue for the rest of the year.

🙌 PBIS Tickets
Tickets
At Pekin Elementary, teachers distribute red PBIS tickets to students who are actively following school expectations. Each ticket comes with specific, positive feedback, allowing students to understand exactly which behaviors they’re being recognized for.
School Wide PBIS Celebrations
Once we reach our school-wide ticket goal, all students will earn a reward like hat day, extra recess, lunch outside, or, for our next prize, a school-wide bingo game!
How do students earn tickets?
For example, a teacher might say, "Thank you for walking quietly in the hallway," or "Great job listening and staying focused during reading time!" This explicit praise helps reinforce positive behavior, encourages a respectful learning environment, and builds students' understanding of the school’s expectations.
