Tutoring
After School - Monday & Wednesday
After-school tutoring is available in the Centennial Media Center on Monday (excluding minimum days) and Wednesdays from 3:45 pm to 5:15 pm. Teachers in various subject areas will be available to help students who are struggling.

Saturday Success Academy
Saturday Success Academy is available to all students at Centennial. Students have the opportunity to come to have a quiet place to work, to get help on assignments, or as a peer tutor and help others (community service hours will be available). Students are provided with breakfast and lunch as a part of this intervention but MUST sign up the Wednesday before (link below) in order to have the food ordered in advance.

Small Groups
CEN10 Seniors College Bound Small Group
Student MUST be a senior to join.
Register to join Ms. Sole (School Counseling Intern) and receive step-by-step guidance in your college search and application process. Learn about your career interests and aspirations, research colleges to pursue those goals, and how to complete the application and financial aid process.
This group will meet on Tuesdays for 7 weeks. Each week will cover a different stage in the college search and application process.

Success Club
Success Club will walk students through a coaching process leading them to becoming successful in the place and levels they are currently at. This will include setting short term goals, breaking barriers that are hindrances to them, and helping them to connect with the right people in order to achieve success in every area of their lives. Students were identified based on current grades, behavior and staff referrals.

Coping with Stress & Anxiety Small Group
Centennial High School in collaboration with SafeHouse (sponsored by Riverside University Health Systems) will be conducting a small group, Stress And Your Mood (SAYM).
This prevention/early intervention focused group will be targeting students who are currently experiencing one or more signs of stress and/or issues with mood but are not currently diagnosed with a mental health concern.
Participants will receive a $20 e-gift card for completing all sessions of the SAYM program.

Peer Counseling - Relax and Release
Relax & Release is a great time to learn and practice coping skills and destress!
Office Hours
Office Hours (OH) at Centennial High School are offered to ensure that ALL Huskies have an equal opportunity for success, by providing access to targeted academic interventions (support) and enrichment activities during the school day, in addition to their regular 6 period class schedule. During Office Hours sessions, which are pre-scheduled for some Tuesdays and Thursday throughout the school year, teachers and school counselors will offer the targeted interventions. Some examples of interventions offered are:

This workshop is aimed to help students find the trade school, college or university that fits their needs. It will go over how to utilize college and major search tools that align with their interests and preferences.

This workshop will assist seniors in preparing their University Personal Insight Questions and Common Application Essays. Students will receive insight and support during this process.

This workshop will assist seniors in preparing their application to UC's (University of California). Students will be walked through the application and be provided insight on how to submit their application (applications are not able to submit until October 1st)
