Important Dates and Reminder

As mentioned in our first newsletter for the year (under Home Learning), we are currently reviewing what we provide for Home Learning.

A survey has been created to gather your thoughts to inform our school policy on Home Learning.

At this stage this is gathering information for the school approach - the big picture. A reminder that, as always, if seeking some guidance on how best you can support your individual child(ren) in their learning, your first port of call is always the whānau teacher.

In this survey we use the term Home Learning which is the term Bellevue School uses. Home Learning refers to what some may call ‘Homework’. For the purpose of the survey we are asking about formal Home Learning such as Reading, Writing, Maths, Spelling etc. and ask that you consider all examples of Home Learning that you have had in the past. While we acknowledge that other valuable learning happens outside school such as after school activities, or Play we ask that you leave these out of your considerations.

If you have more than one child and your children do not engage with Home Learning in the same way, you are welcome to complete the survey more than once.

We expect this survey to take 3-5 minutes maximum. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.
