Hirsch School Spotlight- Wednesday January 22nd 6 pm
Do you and your Bulldog have about 30-60 minutes maximum to come and support Hirsch as we are the School Spotlight at the Board meeting? I anticipate that our 10-minute presentation will take place around 6:15 pm. Students, staff, and families can sit in the Board Room to show how proud we are of our school and our Bulldogs! It would be so great to see students sitting in the seats wearing their previous years' Bulldog Jog shirts too! The address is: 4210 Technology Drive. If you are standing at the front entrance to the building, you want to walk to the entrance on the left side as that leads you directly to the Board Room. Thanks for considering!
Math Festival- This Friday 1/24 WE NEED YOUR HELP!
On Monday, 1/20 you received an email to sign up and volunteer this Friday 1/24 for our Math Festival. Our two time-blocks are 8:15-11:20 and 12:30-2:05. Thank you for considering! I'm not sure if the Parent Square below will work but the email/Parent Square post went out on 1/20. Please check with the office if you are unable to sign up but can volunteer your time! There is no experience needed and it's okay too if you're not an expert with math!
School Safety Reminders
As a reminder, please practice both car and pedestrian safety at all times. We, as a community, need to be vigilant of both students and adults driving and walking around our schools. Every street in our community should be respected so that safety is the highest priority, even the smaller roads. Remind your Bulldogs and others to cross streets safely and use crosswalks for better visibility. Follow rules set up by the city about not turning left from our Valet Loop and drive with caution on our surrounding roads. Ensure a complete stop when at stop signs and be aware of students/adults coming into the intersections. Thank you for helping to keep our community safe.
Science Fair
It's not too late to participate or pick up a board for our Hirsch Elementary Science Fair! Packets are available for your student in the office, but you are also able to download the packet below this post. If your student is in need of a science board you can pick one up in the office. This year we are requesting a donation for science boards of $4 for 24x36 and $5 for 36x48. Science boards can be picked up with a completed participation form in the office between 8-3:30 pm. Due date for science fair projects is January 31, 2025.
Participation in the science fair is not mandatory. Good luck to all!
