Join the PTO Board
Join the Valley Park PTO and be the driving force behind our school's success! We're on the lookout for passionate parents like you to fill key roles and keep our events thriving. Whether you're a numbers wizard, an event planning pro, or just eager to lend a helping hand, there's a perfect spot for you on our team.
Step up as President elect, Treasurer elect, Vice President(s) of Fundraising, Carnival Chair(s), Staff Appreciation Chair(s), Sweetheart Dance Chair(s), Volunteer Coordinator, or Lego League Coordinator. Don't want to go it alone? Grab a friend and tackle the role together, or we'll find you a perfect partner.
Are you a busy, working parent? You're in good company – so are we! That's why we've designed our PTO positions to be manageable for even the busiest schedules. Most roles require less than 2 hours per week, so you can make a big impact without adding stress to your plate. After all, we understand the juggling act of balancing work, family, and community involvement.
Field Day: Friday, May 10th
-Parents/Guardians who are planning to attend/volunteer at Field Day should report straight to the playground - you do no need to check in at the office.

Chinese Immersion Program
Limited spots remaining in Wolf Springs Chinese Immersion Program for 2024-25 kindergarteners
Blue Valley is excited to welcome a new kindergarten class into the Chinese Immersion program for the 2024-25 school year. Limited spots remain in the program that will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Families interested in the program are encouraged to complete the application to be considered. When the limited spots are filled, the application will be closed.
For more information on the immersion program that is located at Wolf Springs Elementary, visit www.bluevalleyk12.org/immersion.
5th Grade Program: Updated Student Meeting Time
Due to the unavailability of a large meeting room close to the BVN Main Gym, students do not need to arrive until 6:50 pm. At 6:50 pm, students should come and sit quietly in their assigned spot on the risers. If you arrive before 6:50 pm, your child must stay with you on the bleachers until 6:50 pm. Thank you!

Dismissal Changes & Pick Up Patrol
Anytime your student is absent, or will get home a different way than normal, please change their status in Pick Up Patrol for dismissal.
Examples include they will start riding the bus, or will walk home instead of being picked up in the car line. Please change the dismissal plan in Pick Up Patrol instead of messaging the office or the teacher (but still always let office know about absences). We all share Pick Up Patrol as the most efficient way to communicate and get kids where they need to go at dismissal!
