Congratulations to our Cross Country Runners, Tennis Athletes, Flag Football Athletes, Tackle Football Athletes, Gymnastics Athletes, and Swim and Dive on a week of great athleticism. Some teams just finished up their regular season and some just finished up Regions. Congratulations to all! This upcoming weekend we will have ASAA State Tournament for Cross Country Running at Bartlett High School. Good luch to all Mustangs!

Winter Sports are just around the corner!

As a remainder for all of our Fall to Winter athletes that we will be doing grade checks after 1st quarter ends for eligibility. Students make sure you are getting all of your missing work turned in. Grade checks will happen on October 23rd-24th.

In the first week of October the district will be sending out a Student Activities Survey to be filled out Oct. 7- Oct. 18th.

eSports season will start on January 8th. In the meantime, we are fundraising every Tuesday with Grilled Cheese Tuesday. If you are interested in joining the team, please join us on Tuesdays in delivering lunch to teachers and selling grilled cheese to students in the hallway.

We are also offering open gaming time in room 205 at lunch on Mondays.

Senior Portrait Submissions are open now at bit.ly/chugiak2025. They are due October 25. Completing the survey will take about 15 minutes, including uploading your senior photo. Now that we are three weeks into the school year, parents should verify that their students have a working Chromebook. Ask them to show you that they can access Canvas, the online platform teachers use to post assignments, announcements, and other important class information. Secondly, have them access Student Connect, then from there the Assignments tab. This is where graded assignments, and overall grades can be found.

A few reminders about ASD issued Chromebooks:

• Students and families are responsible for the care and appropriate usage of the devices.
• If your Chromebook is damaged or not working properly, please bring it to the library for repair or replacement.
• Replacing a device costs $225.
• Fines for damaged Chromebooks will vary.
• If your student needs a Chromebook, they need to report to the library to have one issued.

Payment for high school parking permits has been suspended again for the 24-25 school year.
