JJMS students interested in running for a student council officer position have been campaigning for the past several weeks. This week, the JJMS students elected the following officers:
- Owen Danalewich (8th grade) - President
- Daniel Bolanos (6th grade) - Vice President
- Natalie Ebert (7th grade) - Secretary
- Treasurer - On November 28th the student council advisors and officers will appoint a treasurer.
MODIFIED WINTER SPORTS: On Tuesday, November 21st there will be a Modified Winter Sports meeting after school at JJMS in the new gym. All students who are interested in playing a winter modified sport will need to attend. Also, tryouts for the Modified Winter Sports is on November 28th. Registration must be completed prior to tryouts. Please call the athletic department with any questions regarding modified sports.
- FROM THE HEALTH OFFICE: Final Forms (for parent and student) needs to be completed and current physicals are due in the health office in order to be cleared for tryouts. Please don't wait until the last minute, it will be impossible to clear the students in time and they run the risk of missing tryouts. Please call the JJMS Health Office (ext. 7508) if you have any questions.
