UPCOMING EVENTS
SENIORS: Early Action Deadlines
As we are nearing some of the Early Action Deadlines, we wanted to remind you of a few things!
- In order to send your transcript package, we ask that you complete your Senior Inventory. It is located in your To Do List in SchooLinks. If it is not completed, this could delay your transcripts being sent to your colleges.
- Once your Common App and SchooLinks accounts are linked, counselors can then send your transcripts. You do not need to request them to be sent.
- The Parent Brag Sheet is required only if you need a counselor or teacher letter. It is also located in the To Do List in SchooLinks.
- The Common App Counselor Recommendation Form automatically populates in SchooLinks if the college requires it. This is NOT the same as a counselor letter of recommendation. If you would like to request a counselor letter of recommendation, you need to talk with your counselor. We will NOT send a letter of recommendation unless it is requested.
- Please allow 15 school days for counselor letters of recommendation and 10 school days for transcripts.
Reach out to your school counselor if you have questions. We are here as little or as much as you need us!
Senior Yearbook Photo Day
All Seniors are asked to take a photo that will be used in the year book. This is the first of 3 opportunities for Jerome students. Students that attend Emerald Campus or CCP should make arrangements to attend on one of these dates.

Save the Date! Redistricting Public Input Session on October 21
Dublin City Schools invites you to a public input session on Monday, October 21, from 7-8:30 PM at Jerome High School. While our school is not directly impacted by the upcoming boundary changes, the event is open to all. Cropper GIS will present in the Center for Performing Arts (CPA), followed by a review of proposed boundaries in the Commons. We value your feedback as we work to balance student populations and plan for future growth!
PSAT-Tuesday, Oct. 22
On Tuesday, October 22, the PSAT/NMSQT will be administered to all 11th grade students and registered 9th and 10th grade students. To accommodate testing, all DCS high schools and Emerald Campus will operate on a three-hour delay.
- For students who use district transportation services, buses will run both at their normal pick-up times and on the three-hour delay schedule. This provides flexibility for students to either arrive at their regular time or follow the delayed schedule. Students who arrive at the normal time will have a quiet space to study or work while testing takes place. Breakfast will still be available.
- Once testing concludes, the school day will resume as usual at 10:55 a.m. for the high schools and 10:50 a.m. for Emerald Campus, starting with 4th period. The remainder of the day will follow the regular bell schedule.
Monday Oct. 14: Why Teens Take Risks
Why Teens Take Risks and How We Can Help Keep Them Safe
Last year our community faced several tragic events involving teens. It’s crucial for parents and community members to understand why teens take impulsive risks and how to intervene. On October 14, Dr. Jess Shatkin, a leading expert in child and adolescent mental health, will offer insights to help DCS parents and staff support and protect our children. Local officials and organizations will also be on hand to share information about available resources and services. Space is limited, so reserve your seat here.
Semester Exams Dec. 17-20
At the end of the 1st semester students will participate in Semester Exams. This year exams will be on Dec. 17-20. We will be on an adjusted schedule to administer the exams. As you are preparing for winter break activities here are some guidelines that we will follow for exams:
- If your child is going to miss exam week for any reason, please contact our attendance office to do a pre-arranged absence.
- Neither students nor staff can reschedule an exam without administrator approval.
- Students leaving early for winter break will take exams WHEN THEY RETURN. We will run a make up exam schedule on Jan. 7-10 for students to complete any missed exams.
- Rescheduling exams for convenience is not permitted.
If you have specific questions, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
