Weekly Update 9/27/24
Varsity Tutors
We are pleased to announce the availability of Varsity Tutors, an online service that provides a number of benefits for our students:
- 24/7 Live Tutoring: Students can connect with a live tutor anytime through a chat feature for help with homework, test prep, or understanding difficult concepts.
- On-Demand Classes: Students can access a vast library of live and recorded classes on subjects like math, science, reading, and more.
- SAT/ACT/AP Test Prep: For our high school students, Varsity Tutors provides expert-led courses to help them prepare for major standardized tests.
- Essay Review: Students can submit written assignments and receive feedback on their essays.
- Enrichment and Special Interest Courses: Students can explore new topics/subjects or dive deeper into subjects they love.
Our students received an email with further details about this on Thursday, September 26th. We hope that they take advantage of all that Varsity Tutors has to offer.
PRM Events Calendar
You can access the PRM Events Calendar on our website, and you may find it convenient to bookmark this site. You can also sign up for alerts when the calendar is updated and set reminders for upcoming events.
We know there are many events to which parents like to invite other family members (e.g. concerts, the TREP$ Marketplace, the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony, etc.), and we hope that having this information now makes this easier to arrange. Please also note that further details about events are shared as the dates approach, and these can be found on the "News & Announcements" section of our website.
Locks
We have received the shipment of locks we have been waiting for, which means that all students who have placed orders now have their locks. It is essential that students lock their lockers (hallway and gym lockers) in order to keep their valuables secure. Now that all locks are in, we will be enforcing the requirement that all students keep their lockers locked. For any student who still does not have a lock, they can purchase one online. Details are included in the HSA message below.
