Hughes Academy Weekly Update
September 9, 2024
A Note from Principal Mayes
Hughes Family,
Thank you for a fantastic week at school! Although it was a short one, we still made meaningful progress towards our goals. I'm proud to share that Hughes was recognized at our last academic meeting for making significant strides in math. Our faculty and students are working diligently in all subjects, so we’re confident we'll see growth across the board.
We appreciate your partnership in your student's education. Next week, we’ll be hosting our Open House/Block Party on Tuesday. We’ll have food trucks, school club tables, and you’ll get a chance to explore your student's schedule with them. Teachers will also be sharing insights about their classrooms, curriculum, and how we can work together to ensure our students succeed.
Upon arrival, please park on school property as best you can and avoid blocking any neighbors’ driveways.
If you’re available, we’d love to see you on Tuesday from 5-7 pm!
