Things to Know
Seat Time Recapture
Students who have over 10 absences in a yearlong class or over 5 absences in a semester class must recapture seat time in order to receive credit. See below for available times. Follow this link to register, or click the image below.
*Seat time fees must be paid prior to attending a recapture session.
Shatter the Myth
Shatter the Myth will be held on Tuesday, October 29th at Dutch Fork Middle School. Sign up to attend to learn more about the dangers of drug and alcohol use among young people.
Sock Drive
It's getting colder and spookier, so please help Student Council collect socks for out Spooky Sock Drive. All socks collected throughout the month will be donated to local veterans prior to Veterans day next month. You can drop off socks in room 112, room 246, the Main Office or the Attendance office. Please only drop off adult socks!
AP School Honor Roll
Irmo High School has been recognized for its academic excellence, earning a prestigious Silver distinction on the AP School Honor Roll. This achievement is a testament to the school's commitment to providing its students with rigorous and enriching educational opportunities.
Through the College Optimization award, our school is working to ensure that at least 5% of the Class of 2025 will have the opportunity to take 5 Advanced Placement (AP) courses during their high school years, including at least one AP course in either 9th or 10th grade. This initiative is designed to empower students and prepare them for the challenges and demands of college-level coursework.
Our school's success is the result of the hard work and dedication of its staffulty, students, and families. Irmo High School is grateful for the unwavering support and commitment of its community, which has been instrumental in helping us reach this remarkable milestone and position its students for future academic and personal success.
Yearbook
Order your 2025 Yearbook today! Visit ybpay.lifetouch.com and enter code 14792025. The deadline to order a yearbook is March 20, 2025. Price increases to $70 on January 15, 2025.
Senior Yearbook Information
Attention Senior Families! The deadline to submit senior portrait pose selections for the yearbook is October 31st. The deadline to submit Baby pictures and senior quotes for the yearbook is October 31 at 4PM. If we do not reach 80% participation, this information will not be included in the yearbook. Currently only 54 people have submitted. (Seniors must submit using the Google Form found in the Senior Google Classroom.) The deadline to purchase a Senior Yearbook ad is February 28, 2025 OR until sold out. Currently 4 full page, 5 half page and 8 quarter page ads remain available. Transcripts
Students are now able to order updated transcripts reflecting the 24-25 school year, grade level, and class rank via Parchment. Any student not having an current Parchment account can create one using the link below using their PERSONAL email. All transcripts are free of charge for current Irmo High School students.
Alive at 25
Alive at 25 courses are filling up quickly! Register your student at SCNSC.ORG/A25 to
reserve a space so they will be ready to purchase their parking pass this summer. By
registering your child for Alive at 25, they will receive comprehensive training on safe
driving practices, defensive driving techniques, and the importance of making
responsible choices behind the wheel.
Students must complete this course before they can be issued an Irmo High School Student Parking Pass.

Beat Dutch Fork - Sonic Car Hops Fundraiser
Come out to Sonic on November 6th! Each school gets 10% of the revenue they generate (+100% of the tips) and if they beat the other school, they will get an additional $500.
Swim Team
A huge congratulations to the following Irmo High School swimmers for qualifying for state! Giorgia Andrelli, Addison Courtney, Kameron Courtney, Mackenna Starling, and Katie Parker competed at State on Saturday, October 19th at the Blatt Center at the University of South Carolina. Way to go girls!
