Mirrormont Country Club News
It's not just the pool!
It's time!!!
Legend tells of a mysterious creature that lives off of Issaquah – Hobart road, on Tiger Mountain. This creature tends to hibernate in the cold and blustery Pacific Northwest winters. This past winter, especially, brought a lot of snow to the region that caught the creature off guard. Snuggled in their warm dens, these creatures get antsy once the first rays of spring sun shines through the tall cedar trees. Their doors have been closed for months and then you start seeing them poke their heads out to see the bright orb in the sky. In desperate need to socialize with their neighbors, they shed their raincoats in favor of their t-shirts and (gasp) shorts. Their pasty, white skin BEGGING for the kiss of the sun. But, how can they, though this thick, lush forest, please their desperate dry skin?
This creature is called the MCC Member. And to solve this yearly debacle, they show up with their flock to the Mirrormont Country Club, where they can get sun, sit in shade, swim, play on the playground, play tennis, ping pong, tether ball, grill their dinner, throw parties for their family and friends and socialize until the sun goes down.
After a long winter of the PNW blues, they will smile and laugh with joy and remember just one of the awesome perks of being a MCC Member.

On the personal note I grew up on Tiger Mountain as a kid, I attended Maywood Middle School and Liberty High School. A lot has changed since those days but Mirrormont is still filled with the same great neighbors and community support I remember. We moved back into the Mirrormont community in 2013 and have been members of the Club ever since. I share my home with my husband, Steve Daughter, Gabbie (3rd grade Maple Hills Elementary) and 3 crazy dogs.
