Read the event guidelines below. Please make sure that your student reads these guidelines and agrees to follow them.
You must be a current WCJH 8th grade student to attend (no friends from other schools).
No parent may attend unless they are an official PTA volunteer.
In order to maintain a safe environment, students must arrive at the party by 7:00 pm and are expected to remain until the event ends. If a student must leave before 9:00 pm, a parent must walk into school to retrieve your child.
Students who arrive after 7:00 pm will not be admitted.
Students who leave the party early for any reason will not be allowed to return.
Dates are not necessary. Go to have fun with your friends!
Safety
The event will be a lock-in for security purposes. Students will be inside the WCJH building.
A security officer will be present and campus administrators will be on duty.
Students who leave early may not return to the party.
No limousines allowed (WCJH and KISD procedures).
During party hours, your student may leave only in the company of his/her parent or another parent who is designated in advance. A show of ID will be required for early check-outs only.
Drop-Off
Parents will drop off students IN THE FRONT CARPOOL LINE ONLY starting at 6:00 pm.
Students will need to enter through the front of the school and present their Student ID to the check in table. A photo of the Student ID from their phones is sufficient and recommended.
Students must arrive by 7:00 pm to enter the party.
Pick-up
Students must stay for the entire event and should be picked up by their parents promptly at 9:00 PM, either IN THE FRONT or THE BACK OF THE SCHOOL.
Parents who wish to pick up their student early (before 9:00 pm) can do so only if the parent/guardian (identification required) comes into the FRONT ENTRANCE and signs out the student at the time they are leaving. Students from another family may not be picked up unless the parent includes them as an approved "alternate pick-up" on the Permission Form ahead of time.
No walking or riding a bike home.
Behavior
Inappropriate behavior will result in removal from the party.
All KISD rules will be strictly enforced (see the KISD Discipline Management Plan).
Students will be expected to dance appropriately.
Students will be given one warning for inappropriate behavior. If they do not comply, they will be asked to leave the event.
Phones
Students' cell phones should be for photos or to contact parents only.
