One more week of holiday fun and learning in 2024! The staff has recorded some stories to be enjoyed over the break by parents and students. You may choose to view one a night as the schedule suggests, or you can view them all at once! The schedule and links can be found later in the newsletter. Have a wonderful weekend!

Yearbooks are a fun way to look back on each year as you grow, so make sure you order one for your student today! Each book comes with 2 free Custom pages for you to include your own special photos and memories of the year, but those pages don’t have to be created until April. 12 Days of Head Festive Fun!
Participate in as many days as you'd like!
On December 13th, send in gently used jackets, scarves, hats, gloves, and NEW socks. All donations will be delivered to MUST Ministries.
On December 19th, bring a $1 donation for Fifth Grade activities, and get decked out in your holiday bling!
School Climate Survey

The Georgia School Climate Survey is an anonymous, statewide survey instrument that identifies school safety and climate issues that impact student achievement. Spelling Bee
On Friday, we held our annual R.D. Head Spelling Bee.
This year's champion is Navya Mishra!
Our runner-ups are Bryson Moore and Colin Brasfield!!
Congratulations to all of our 4th & 5th grade Spelling Bee participants!

Principal for a Day
The Brookwood Schools Foundation Bidding for Good is now open!
Would your child like to see what it's like to be a principal at Head Elementary School? Spend time with Dr. Burnley getting to experience "principal life." This auction item is open to 2nd-5th graders. Bidding for this item ends on February 3rd.
