Staff Bulletin #11
October 21, 2024
Have a great week!
Teachers, thank you for engaging in our October Professional Development. We had some really nice conversation around the Spotlight Students and our data and I am looking forward to celebrating the growth of your Spotlight Students as we progress through the school year!
LEADER IN ME Weekly Lessons
Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
Now that you have your classroom mission statement, encourage your students to create and personalize their own. This week’s lessons will help them in this process. Mission statements are important because they provide a sense of purpose and direction. They help students articulate their values, goals, and aspirations, fostering a greater sense of ownership and motivation in their learning. Consider displaying the students' mission statements in a designated area of the room so everyone can see and be inspired by each other’s creativity!
