Citizen Washington Focus Update
Your family may have or may not heard of Citizenship Washington Focus. For more than 50 years , thousands of high school-aged youth from all across the country have traveled to Washington, D.C. each summer to partake in the preeminent citizenship and leadership experience - Citizenship Washington Focus.
In 2022, the former National 4-H Conference Center near Washington D.C. was sold, leaving the future of CWF unknown. Because of the unknowns nationally with CWF, Nebraska is moving to a one-year time frame for planning and fundraising.
CWF 2024 registration came out in November and filled within a week! We do have one delegation going from Nebraska that Rhonda is leading. Shop 4-H does have a waitlist option available but that would not give you much certainty with planning since it is fast approaching.
The Nebraska State 4-H Office will continue to share updates as we learn more about opportunities for 2025. If you have questions, call Tessa.
