GMP at Sabin Middle School

The middle school GMP is a full-day, Gifted and Talented Magnet Program for grades 6-8. The middle school philosophy focuses on educating the whole child through rich, in-depth curriculum centered on year-long themes, project based instruction, experiential learning, and a wide variety of exploratory classes and academic competitions.

Engaging rigorous projects include bridge building, boat building and egg drop competitions; service learning and STEAM challenges.

Students participate in a day of service each year that addresses a need in the community and fosters a sense of civic duty.

Sabin has 140 students in the GMP who are taught by six teachers who loop with students to foster a sense of community and common expectations.

Sabin celebrates Marion Clawson's excellence GT student advocacy and her acceptance of the GT Parent of the Year Award from the Colorado Association of Gifted and Talented. Way to go, Marion!
