A Note from Mrs. Smith...

What a fantastic Catholic Schools Week we had last week. Thank you, our parents, for your help as your child participated in each day's events. The special dress each day requires extra effort on your part. Please know how much we appreciate it. In spite of the fun, we all look forward to our students returning to school on Monday in their school uniforms ready for a regular week!

Our Open House last Sunday brought many potential new families through our school. Many thanks to our Student Ambassadors who served as guides and shared their positive school experiences with our visitors. These students gave their time to be here and they represented OLGC School beautifully.

You will receive a separate communication with re-registration details and documents. We reserve space for all our current students and their siblings. If you re-register your child(ren) by April 1, he/she is guaranteed their place in the class.

Dismissal is at noon this Friday, February 7. Please support our PTA and plan to attend OLGC Day at Funplex if you can. Thank you to the PTA for providing this opportunity for our students and families to socialize outside of school.

School will be OPEN for a regular day on Friday, March 14 for all students. This will make up for one of our snow day emergency closings. The tentative last day of school is June 18.

We are holding an additional Open House on Tuesday, February 18 at 10:00 AM. If you know anyone who is interested in learning about OLGC School for their children, please refer them to us. Visitors must pre-register for this event.

LET'S SUPPORT THE EAGLES

Students may support the Philadelphia EAGLES on Friday, February 7 by wearing their EAGLES GREEN. School uniform GYM PANTS should be worn with an EAGLES shirt if parents choose. All students may wear their full gym uniform on Friday if not adding an Eagles top. This is not a regular dress down day, so other pants or shirts should not be worn. We understand that some students are fans of other teams in the NFL, and that's great, but this is a special day to show support for the Philadelphia Eagles, our hometown team, as they head to the Super Bowl.

Doors will open at 8:05 Monday morning, February 10, with homeroom starting at 8:20. It will be a normal school day. E-A-G-L-E-S -- GO BIRDS!
