In order to participate in fair, you will need to fill out the appropriate forms below. If you have not filled these out before, please watch the video below for some basic guidelines!

Please call Sarah at the office at any time at 308-262-1022 (leave a message) OR on her cell (at appropriate hours, please) at 308-750-8513 if you have any questions or problems.

FORMS MUST BE TURNED IN BY FRIDAY AT 4:30 PM OR YOU WILL BE ASSESSED A $10 fine for EACH PAPER you want to turn in after that time. NO PAPERS = NO PARTICIPATION AT FAIR!

As usual, we are asking youth and adults to help with some tasks at the fair. This is great opportunity to show the community youth working to make the fair their own and gain knowledge of new projects. We know you all are busy but hope that you will find time to donate your time - after all 4-H and FFA is all about service!! Feel free to call if you have any questions!!

Some of the areas we need help in are:

Announcers - High school youth and adults. Will announce who is in the ring, call for participants to get ready to go into ring, and announce ribbon placings.

Photographer helpers - will help Steph keep track of which pictures she has taken and what she still needs. May also help pose pictures.

Show help - mostly sorting ribbons but could also be a runner, help Sarah with small tasks, etc. Youth of all ages welcome here.

Pledges and flag holders - two will hold the flags and one will be on the mic leading the pledges.

We're using SignUp to organize times for youth to sign up for fair.

You can access the fair book online OR come to the office to purchase one for $5.

Shooting sports, fashion show, and all other static hall exhibits go on the Static Forms! Make sure you are signing up for the correct age division when you put down the class number for shooting sports!

All animal registrations (dog, cat, poultry, rabbit, horse, beef, sheep, goat, and swine) all go on the Livestock Form. Please make sure that you sign up for the correct age division when you signing up for Showmanship classes and all Horse classes!!! Once an animal is selected as 4-H or FFA on this paperwork, it cannot be switched unless approved by the Livestock Committee. You MUST designate which an animal at this time for 4-H and FFA, though. The same tag number cannot show up on both 4-H and FFA paperwork.

Don't stress if you forgot to add something or put the wrong class! Up until July 12th at noon, we will accept changes (as long as you turned your pre-fair papers in on time). We would also REALLY appreciate if you would let us know if you are dropping anything by July 12th. This will help with judging and stalling!

More information will be coming soon about fair clean-up! In the meantime, be sure to put it on your calendar!

Wednesday, July 3 - Sarah in office 12:30 to 5:00

Thursday, July 4 - Office Closed

Friday, July 5 - Sarah in Office from 9 to 4:30

If you need help on what class to put something in, please feel free to call me! I would love to help. Many times for statics it helps to see a picture of the project. You can call or text me on my cell at 308-750-8513, but please be respectful of the time. You can also call the Garden County Office. Ana is my office manager/4-H Aid there. She can help you try to determine where to put things as well. The GC office number is 308-772-3311. I would suggest calling her Monday and Tuesday especially as I don't have the greatest service at camp!
