Thank you to those that attended our Community Forum last week. Your feedback, comments, and questions were helpful as we move forward to develop a clear plan. Our committe made up of staff and parents did a great job articulating Bishop's proposed school focus.

Hello Bishop Community! I'm Diana Johnson - Bishop's school social worker since 2016. My primary focus is helping students thrive emotionally, socially and as a result -- academically! This means I help students and families with challenges they are experiencing in and out of school. Sometimes I help connect families with community resources, other times I may provide counseling to individuals or groups of students. Additionally, I often help parents and teachers navigate the behavioral, emotional, economic, legal, or trauma-related crises that arise and impact student well-being.

I have a deep admiration for you - the adults in our students' lives who often put your own needs second to support children in their learning.
