A few quick reminders for our families and community.

• Follow traffic laws, there are NO left turns into our parking lot from the Milton Highway.
• Please be courteous in car rider line, no cutting.
• Early check outs, if you are are checking out your student it must be before 2:45pm.
• LUNCH BUNCH passes. We have a few upcoming days that our "bagged" lunches due to school performance. Please avoid LUNCH BUNCH passes on these date: December 11th, 18th, and 20th (If you had already scheduled this day, we will accommodate.)
• Holiday Pictures fingers crossed! I am currently waiting on them to arrive via mail - there was a delay. The hope is for Tuesday but definitely before we leave Friday!
• Please consider signing up to support a holiday lunch spread for our staff (more information below).

The order was delayed via mail. They were scheduled to arrive by mail Friday, December 13th. We are hoping they arrive and go home Tuesday. We will keep families posted!

After a discussion with parents at last weeks parent/community meeting we are making a few adjustments.

We had this volunteer opportunity listed on a previous form however, we shifted it to sign up genius. If you had already signed up on the google form! We have you accounted for! We are currently looking for the following items for our staff to enjoy Wednesday! Any and all Christmas dishes are welcome!

Please drop off anytime Wednesday, December 18th before 10am!

Join Mrs. Jodie Landry and Ms. Elise Melton with Project Logic! They will facilitate this hands on opportunity after school! Project Logic is a unique opportunity for 3rd -5th grade students to engage in hands on learning focused on the "Properties of Air".

What a great way to extend science learning with a program developed by natural scientist! A UL Professor and team have developed this experience for kids!

This December we are focusing on service and lending a helping hand to someone else. Teaching children to help those in need is crucial for developing their empathy, compassion, and sense of social responsibility, allowing them to grow into caring individuals who actively contribute to their communities, while also boosting their self-esteem and fostering a positive outlook on life by understanding the power of their actions to make a difference; it essentially cultivates a strong moral foundation early on.
