Note from Dr. Mullenschlader
How awesome was Trivia Night? What a great job by Jamie Ovlia, Jessica Fahrenhorst and their team. We raised over $11,000 and had a quite a bit of fun in the process. Here is something I learned about trivia nights, if you wait till the end to do a "finish the lyrics category" pretty much everyone will get the answers correct because everyone is singling along by the end of the night. Thanks for attending and hope to see even more families attend next year.
Virtue of the Month - Courtesy
Courtesy is treating other people with respect, recognizing that all are made in God's image and likeness.
Ways to cultivate courtesy in our young children are to help them: let others go first, practice manners, show awareness of the feelings of others.
Here is a prayer for the children to say at home: Dear Jesus, Help me to show respect toward others in my words, manners, and actions.
A few more courteous saints are: St. Nicholas, St. Rose of Lima, and St. Vincent De Paul
Congratulations Welz family on their new baby boy!
