We are excited to welcome our incoming 6th graders on "In the Middle Day" on Tuesday, September 3rd. Just a reminder that September 3rd is only for 6th-grade students; 7th and 8th graders will start on Wednesday, September 4th.

When students arrive, they will go to the gymnasium to pick up a schedule and a name tag. They can then go to their locker, get breakfast, and visit with their friends. Students will go to the auditorium at 7:40, and we will start the morning with some fun activities. Students will engage in fun connection activities throughout the day and learn more about middle school.

A reminder to students and families about our expectations regarding Chromebooks and cell phones is linked here. Students are not allowed to have wireless airbuds/airpods at all during the school day.

Parents/guardians of Chippewa 6th graders, please plan to attend the 6th grade Parent Information Night on Thursday, September 12th. You will learn more about your student's day with a brief presentation at 6:00 p.m. in the Chippewa Auditorium. Following the presentation, you will have the opportunity to walk your students' schedule.

If you are a parent or guardian of a music student, presentations about the band, choir, or orchestra curriculum will start BEFORE the auditorium presentation; look for more information coming soon!

Your first day is Wednesday, September 4th. Plan to head to your first-hour class, where you will get a new schedule. You can check StudnetVUE or ParentVUE for your class schedule.

Attention, Chippewa MVHS athletes! The MVHS shuttle will be available Monday through Friday beginning Wednesday, September 4th. Buses will depart promptly at 3 p.m. in the front of the building daily and take you to MVHS for your activity. If you have any questions, please stop by the front desk.

Students, plan to come to the biggest party of the year, connect with old friends, and make some new ones! The event is held after school on Friday, September 13th, until 4:00 p.m. Parents, please plan to pick up your students promptly at 4:00. If you have any questions, stop at the front desk. Wristbands will be sold in the front office starting Monday, September 9th, for $5.

Parents, you are also invited to join the fun! You can sign up to volunteer here! Your support is crucial in making this event a success. Parent volunteers can have fun, connect with students in their 'school habitat,' and help make the BLAST memorable. Teachers and Deans will be there, but we need parents to help with all of this fun, too. Thank you for your support!

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year and to Chippewa Middle School! ChAC stands for Chippewa Advisory Council, and we are your volunteer parent organization at Chippewa Middle School.

ChAC is dedicated to fostering student connectedness and providing enriching experiences. Our efforts culminate in three significant events each year, made possible by your contributions and active involvement. Your support is the backbone of our success.

We raise funds only once yearly, NOW, at the beginning of the school year. If you are willing to donate, you can do this by mailing in/dropping off cash or checks or donating through Venmo (see link below). All funds support our student connectedness events and teacher appreciation events.
